This week I have a cute little gift you can make for anyone you want to give a little encouragement to. This little OWL is from the Staright from the Nest Cricut cartridge I believe I made him 2.5",
Instructions. . .
Cut 3 -Bazzill Bling Glitz blue- card stock - - shadow
Cut 1 - Bazzill Bling, Bank Roll green - card stock - - body
Cut 1 set - Bazzill Bling Bling yellow - card stock - - swirl chest, wings
Cut 1 - Bazzill Bling Tootsie orange - card stock - - nose
Cut 1 pair - Bazzill Bling Diamond white - card stock - - eyes 5/8" hole punch
Cut 1 pair - Bazzill Bling Black Tie black - card stock - - eyes 1/4 hole punch
Stack & glue your 3 shadow card stock owls together, place under mat to dry FLAT. Than when dry glue the green body, than yellow swirl chest and wings. Using a sponge quarter highlight the chest and wings with Memento Tangelo Ink. Add the eyes on the owl with foam dots. . this will raise the eyes and give a little dimension. Using a white Gelly Roll pen add the whites of his eyes on the black (looking down to the left).Using a Gelly Roll Sparkle pen highlight randomly on the orange ink and blue shadow card stock.
I printed the little memo sheets off on the computer 2" x3". I randomly printed them in the colors from the owl so they would match. I dangled a spiral clip off the wing with wire and beads to hold the notes. The top has beads and wire, along with a rope bow in blue.
